Photographic Developments From:

'The Unicorn Petroglyph'

Part II

"The Unicorn Petroglyph was discovered in two sections, horizontally fractured through the middle.

The image of the unicorn develops from the flat inside surface of the bottom stone.

The detail of the glyphic image structure can be literally traced to the biblical scripture

of Job 41: 1-34 (KJV)."  Reference: The Unicorn Petroglyph Part I

These Photographic Reflections Were Developed Using The Defined 'Process Method'.

Reflections of the Unicorn Image

A Tracing of the Unicorn Image, Color Filled to Highlight the Details.

Observations & Descriptions of the Glyphic Image Development:

  • The image of the unicorn appears from the orthographic or 3-dimensional left side standing upright in a furrow.

  • A swirled horn protrudes from a crown on top of the head of the unicorn.

  • The jaw is pierced with a thorn and the tongue is drawn down from the mouth with a cord.

  • A patterned garment (blanket) is spread across the back and a double handled bridle is strapped across the front legs.

Notice:

"The equipment and technology that was utilized for this research was far from ‘optimal’!

The detail and tone of the reflected image photographs could inevitably be enhanced with better and more sophisticated recording,

illuminating and positioning equipment.  Though the image reflections would not change in essence, the descriptive element and depth

of image translation could be significantly increased."
